Price Match Guarantee
We want you to get the best price possible. If you find a lower price at an authorized competitor, we may match it, subject to meeting all of the conditions below.
All conditions listed below must be met simultaneously for a price match request to be eligible. These are not alternative conditions — each and every one is mandatory.
Eligibility Conditions
For a price match request to be considered, all of the following conditions must be met:
The product must be exactly the same: same brand, same model, same part number (SKU/UPC), same colour, same size, and same model year. Refurbished, open-box, demo, or previous-year models do not qualify.
The competitor must be an authorized Canadian retailer of the product in question, with a physical location or transactional website operating in Canada. Third-party marketplaces (Amazon Marketplace, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, etc.), third-party sellers, buying clubs (Costco), auction sites, and resale sites do not qualify.
The product must be currently in stock and available for immediate purchase from the competitor at the time of your request. Out-of-stock, backordered, "in transit," or "available on order" products do not qualify.
The competitor's price must be a regular, publicly advertised price accessible to any consumer. Not eligible: member-only pricing, promo codes or coupons, employee pricing, loyalty program pricing, bundle deals, mail-in rebate pricing, store opening prices, special financing offers, and going-out-of-business liquidation prices.
The competitor's price must not be the result of a pricing error, typographical error, technical glitch, or price anomaly. Electronique Hi-Fi reserves the right to verify the price and decline any request if the price appears to be clearly erroneous or abnormally low compared to the current market price.
You must provide verifiable proof of the competitor's price: a working URL link to the competitor's product page showing the price and availability, or a dated flyer/advertisement. The proof must be verifiable at the time your request is processed.
The price comparison is based on the total delivered price, including shipping charges. If the competitor charges shipping fees, those will be added to their listed price for comparison. Applicable taxes are excluded from the comparison.
Exclusions
- Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day / Boxing Week sales
- Limited-time promotions (flash sales, deal of the day, 24h/48h sales)
- Clearance, going-out-of-business, or end-of-line sales
- Products sold on third-party marketplaces (Amazon Marketplace, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Facebook, Kijiji)
- Prices with promo codes, coupons, employee discounts, or loyalty programs
- Bundle offers that include additional accessories or services
- Prices after mail-in rebate
- Refurbished, used, open-box, or demo products
- Competitor pricing errors or clearly abnormal prices
- Gift cards, extended warranties, and installation services
How to Request a Price Match
Send us an email at info@electroniquehifi.ca or call us at (514) 352-4434 with your price match request.
Include the URL link to the competitor's product page, or a dated screenshot of the flyer/advertisement. The price and availability must be clearly visible.
Our team will verify the competitor's price, availability, and eligibility according to all the conditions listed above. This process may take up to 48 business hours.
If the request is approved, we will match the competitor's price. For an existing purchase (within 30 days), the difference will be refunded to the original payment method.
After Your Purchase
If you have already made your purchase at Electronique Hi-Fi and we lower our own price on the same product within 30 days of your purchase date, we will refund the difference. Simply contact us with your order number and proof of the new price on our website. The request must be made within the 30-day window — no retroactive requests will be accepted beyond this period.
Note: This post-purchase adjustment applies exclusively to price reductions on our own website. The competitor price match conditions listed above apply only at the time of purchase.
Limitations and Reserves
- The Price Match Guarantee is limited to one (1) price adjustment per item, per customer.
- The price match cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, coupons, or ongoing offers at Electronique Hi-Fi.
- Electronique Hi-Fi reserves the right to refuse any price match request at its sole discretion, particularly if all conditions above are not met or if the request is deemed abusive.
- Electronique Hi-Fi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw this Price Match Guarantee policy at any time without prior notice.
- This policy is a voluntary commercial courtesy and does not constitute a contractual obligation. It cannot be subject to any legal claim.
- In case of doubt regarding the eligibility of a request, the decision of Electronique Hi-Fi management is final and binding.
