What does that actually mean for listening? Bass is present without being muddy. Mids handle vocals and spoken word cleanly. Highs don't screech at higher volumes. For the price point, the sound quality surprised us at the showroom. These won't replace a good pair of over-ears, but for podcasts, calls, and casual music listening, they punch above their weight.

Panasonic calls it ErgoFit, and it's not just a marketing name. The earbud shape follows the natural contour of the ear canal, so they sit comfortably without constant readjustment. Three sizes of silicone tips (S, M, L) come in the box, so you can find the fit that seals properly for your ears.

Good seal matters. It improves bass response and blocks outside noise passively. No active noise cancellation here, but a snug fit does a lot of the work on its own. Once you find the right tip size, these stay put during a walk, a commute, or desk work.

A standard 3.5mm jack means these work with any phone, laptop, tablet, or audio player that has a headphone port. The cord runs 1.1 metres (about 3.6 feet), which is long enough to reach from a pocket to your ears without excess cable flopping around.
